How to connect ChatGPT to your calendar
Updated September 2026
Tell ChatGPT to put it on your calendar — and it's on your iPhone.
Aide Calendar is a ChatGPT plugin. Add it once, and anything you ask ChatGPT to schedule — typed out, or pasted in as a screenshot — saves to your calendar and syncs to your iPhone and iPad. Here's how to set it up, in about a minute.
The short answer
- Add the Aide Calendar plugin in ChatGPT.
- Sign in with your Aide Calendar email and a one-time code.
- Ask ChatGPT to add an event or task — it saves to your calendar and syncs to your phone.
You'll need the free Aide Calendar app on iPhone first — that's where your account is created.
Connect it — about a minute
- Get the free Aide Calendar app on your iPhone and sign in, so you have an account.
- In ChatGPT, add the Aide Calendar plugin.
- Sign in with the same email as your Aide Calendar account.
- Enter the one-time code emailed to you. Done — ChatGPT can now save to your calendar.
How to use it
- Just type it. "Add lunch with Sara next Thursday at 1pm at Kinta." → saved as an event.
- Paste a screenshot. Drop in a screenshot of a message or a booking confirmation and ask ChatGPT to add it.
- Several at once. Ask for a whole list — up to 25 items in one go — and they all save.
Everything lands on your calendar and syncs to your iPhone and iPad.
What it captures
- Full events — start and end time, venue, attendees (with phone and email), notes and links.
- Tasks — with a due date and priority.
- Recurring events — daily, weekly, monthly or yearly, saved as one series, not repeated entries.
- All-day and time zones — all-day events stay on the right day, and "tomorrow at 5" resolves in your own time zone.
- No duplicates — re-saving the same item won't create a second copy.
Your privacy
- ChatGPT does the reading. SummerCloude runs no AI of its own on your messages, and never sees the rest of your conversation.
- Your events are yours. They're saved to your Aide Calendar account and sync to your iPhone and iPad — that's the whole point. The plugin itself keeps only your sign-in, to stay connected; it stores no copy of your ChatGPT conversation.
- Disconnect anytime. In ChatGPT: Settings → Apps → Aide Calendar → Disconnect.
Good to know
- It saves events and tasks. Version 1 doesn't read back or query your existing calendar.
- It doesn't keep the original screenshot — the extracted event or task is what's saved.
