How to add your whole trip itinerary to your calendar without typing

Your flights, hotel and train times are already written down — in booking confirmations you'll never dig back through. Here's how to get the whole trip onto your iPhone calendar without retyping any of it.
A trip arrives in pieces: a flight confirmation here, a hotel booking there, a train ticket, a car hire. Each one has the date, time and place — they just never make it onto your calendar. Aide Calendar reads each confirmation and fills in the event for you, so you step off the plane with the day already laid out.
The short answer
- Screenshot each confirmation — the flight, the hotel, the train — or share it from Mail, or paste the text.
- Add them to Aide Calendar in one capture — up to nine images at once.
- Review and save. Each booking becomes its own event, with the time, place and confirmation number filled in.
The details are already in the confirmations — Aide reads them for you, so you don't copy anything across by hand.
Step by step
- Gather the confirmations. As each booking comes in, screenshot it — or, from Mail, tap Share and choose Aide Calendar. A photo of a printed voucher or boarding pass works the same way.
- Open Aide Calendar and tap the capture button (the ✦). Add all the screenshots for the trip at once — up to nine images in a single capture.
- Let Aide read them. It pulls out each booking as its own event: the flight, the hotel, the train, with the times, the place and the confirmation number.
- Review the trip. Everything is laid out together — check the dates and times, fix anything that is off, and drop anything you don't need.
- Tap Save. The trip lands on your calendar with alerts set, synced across your iPhone and iPad.
What it pulls out of a booking
- Flights — departure and arrival, with the airport and flight number.
- Hotel — your check-in, and check-out as its own event, with the address.
- Trains and transfers — the time, the station, the platform when it's printed.
- Car hire — pick-up and drop-off, with the location.
- Confirmation and booking numbers — kept in the event's notes, so they're there when you check in.
- Phone numbers and addresses — the hotel or rental desk number saved so you can tap to call, the address ready to open in maps.
Tips
Do the whole trip in one capture
You don't have to add bookings one at a time. Screenshot each confirmation as it arrives, then add them all together — Aide reads several images as one trip and returns the flights, hotel and train as separate events to review in a single pass.
Paper works too
A printed itinerary, a boarding pass, a voucher taped to the fridge — take a photo of it. Aide reads photos, including the QR code on a boarding pass and the contact card on a hotel voucher.
Check the times when a trip crosses time zones
Aide reads the times as they appear on your confirmation. When you're flying across time zones, glance at the departure and arrival times on the review screen before you save, and adjust anything that looks off — nothing is locked in until you tap Save.
Common problems
It read the wrong day
Confirmations write dates in all sorts of formats. Tap the date on the review screen to correct it before saving — the event is never added until you tap Save.
One leg is missing
If a booking spanned more than one screen and a screenshot missed part of it, add the missing screenshot and capture again. Several images are always read together.
