Aide Calendar for ChatGPT — Terms of Service

1. What the Service does

The Service saves events and tasks described in ChatGPT to your Aide Calendar account over an encrypted connection. ChatGPT extracts the details; we pass the specific event or task you ask to save to Aide Calendar. We perform no AI processing of our own and never receive your other ChatGPT messages.

2. Account & eligibility

The Service requires an existing Aide Calendar account, which you connect by signing in with a one-time email code. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for activity under your connected account and for keeping your sign-in email secure.

3. No fee

The Service is provided free of charge. We do not sell, and the Service does not process, any products, subscriptions, or payments. Your Aide Calendar account may be subject to its own separate terms and pricing.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: misuse or abuse the Service; attempt to access it without authorization; interfere with or disrupt it; probe, scan, or attack its security; reverse-engineer it except where permitted by law; or use it to break any law or to infringe anyone's rights. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is abusive.

5. Third-party services

• OpenAI / ChatGPT — hosts the plugin and performs the extraction; OpenAI's terms apply to your use of ChatGPT.
• Aide Calendar — stores your events and tasks; Aide Calendar's terms and privacy policy apply.
• Cloudflare — hosts the Service.

We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

6. Privacy

Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In short: we store only your encrypted Aide sign-in (an OAuth grant), never your event or task data.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, and its content are owned by SUMMERCLOUDE PTE. LTD. and protected by law. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service; no other rights are granted.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every event or task will be saved correctly. You are responsible for confirming important items in your Aide Calendar.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SUMMERCLOUDE PTE. LTD. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or events, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Since the Service is provided free of charge, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to SGD 100.

10. Changes & termination

We may modify or discontinue the Service, or update these Terms, at any time; material changes take effect when posted here. You may stop using the Service at any time by disconnecting it in ChatGPT (Settings → Apps → Aide Calendar → Disconnect), which revokes and removes the stored grant.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore, without regard to conflict of law principles.
