Privacy Policy for Dual Camera - Front & Back Pro

Effective date: 14 July 2026 · Last updated: 14 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SUMMERCLOUDE PTE. LTD. ("we," "us," or "the developer") handles information in connection with the Dual Camera - Front & Back Pro iOS app ("the App").

The short version: Dual Camera does not collect any data, and the App has no networking at all. It records video using your iPhone's cameras and microphone, processes everything on your device, and saves your recordings only to your own photo library. We operate no server, we receive nothing, and nothing you record ever leaves your iPhone through the App.

What we collect

Nothing. The App has no account, no sign-up, and no login. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data, usage data, analytics, advertising identifiers, or device identifiers. The App contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software.

The App has one optional feature that uses personal data on your device: location tagging, described below. It is off unless you turn it on, the location is written only into your own photos and videos on your device, and it is never sent to us or to anyone else.

Location (optional)

The App can tag the photos and videos you save with where they were taken, so your photo library can group them by place and show them on its map — the same behaviour as the built-in Camera app.

This is off by default. Nothing about your location is requested or used until you turn on Tag with location in the App's Effects panel. Only then does iOS ask for permission, and if you decline, the setting switches itself back off.

When it is on, the coordinates are written into the photo or video file itself, in your own photo library on your device. Your location is not sent to us, not stored by us, and not shared with anyone — the App makes no network requests at all. If you later share one of those files, the location travels with it, exactly as it would with a photo from the built-in Camera app; your photo library offers options to remove it when sharing.

Turn it off at any time in the App, or revoke the permission in Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services. Files you already saved keep the location that was written at the time.

Camera and microphone

The App uses your cameras and microphone for the sole purpose of recording video while you are using it. The live camera feeds and audio are processed entirely on your device — including the picture-in-picture and split-screen compositing, background removal, beauty smoothing, and filters — to produce the video you see and record. These feeds are not sent anywhere, and are not retained by the App except as the video file you choose to save.

iOS will ask your permission before the App can use the camera and microphone. You can review or change these permissions at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security, or in the App's entry in the Settings app.

Your recordings and your photo library

When you tap Save, the App writes the finished video to your device's photo library using Apple's standard system interface. The App requests add-only access — it can save new videos, but it does not read, browse, or access your existing photos and videos. Your recordings are stored on your device (and in your own iCloud Photos, if you have that enabled through Apple); we have no access to them.

No network activity

The App makes no network requests. It does not connect to us or to any third party. There is no cloud processing, no backup to our servers, and no in-app purchases or advertising network. Because the App does not transmit anything, there is no data in transit for us — or anyone else — to intercept, store, or analyze.

Children's privacy

The App does not collect personal data from anyone, including children. It contains no ads, no in-app purchases, and no links out to the web or social media.

Data retention and deletion

Because we collect nothing and store nothing on our side, there is no personal data of yours for us to retain or delete. The videos you save live in your own photo library and are under your control — you can delete them there at any time. Deleting the App removes it and any of its on-device settings from your device.

Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR, Singapore's PDPA, and the CCPA give you rights over personal data a company holds about you. Because Dual Camera collects and holds no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or erase. If you have any questions, contact us using the details below.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the App handles information, we will update this policy and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected here before a new version of the App that relies on them is released.
