Privacy Policy for Aide Invoice

Effective date: 29 June 2026 · Last updated: 29 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SUMMERCLOUDE PTE. LTD. ("we," "us," or "the developer") handles information in connection with the Aide Invoice iOS app ("the App").

The short version: Aide Invoice does not collect your personal data. Everything you create in the App — your invoices, customers, business profile, and logo — is stored only on your own device. We do not run a server that receives your data, and we have no copy of it.

Summary

1. Who we are

The App is provided by SUMMERCLOUDE PTE. LTD.. If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or your privacy, contact us at [email protected].

2. Information we collect

We do not collect any personal data through the App.

The App does not ask you to create an account, sign in, or provide an email address, name, or any other identifier to us. We do not have a server that receives your information, and we have no database of users.

Information you create and keep on your device

When you use the App, you may enter and store information such as:

All of this is stored locally on your device only, using Apple's on-device storage (SwiftData). It is not transmitted to us, and we never receive a copy. This information is under your control on your own device.

Information we do not collect or use

The App does not:

3. How your information is used

Because the developer does not collect your data, we do not use it for anything. The information you enter exists only so the App can do what you asked it to — for example, create an invoice, generate a PDF, calculate totals, and track payments — all on your device.

When you choose to send an invoice (for example, by email or through the iOS share sheet), the App hands the document to the system feature or app you select. From that point, the handling of that message or file is governed by the app or service you chose (for example, your email provider). We are not involved in that transmission and do not receive a copy.

4. Purchases

The App offers an optional one-time purchase (Aide Invoice Pro) to unlock unlimited invoices. The free tier allows up to 10 invoices per month and unlimited customers.

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and Apple's In-App Purchase system. We do not receive or store your payment card number, billing address, or other payment details. Apple shares only limited, non-identifying purchase status with the App so it can unlock the Pro features you bought, and so you can restore a previous purchase.

Apple's handling of your purchase and payment information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/. Please review Apple's policy to understand how Apple processes payment and App Store information.

5. Photo Library access

If you choose to add a business logo, the App requests permission to access your Photo Library so you can select an image. The image you pick is stored on your device and used only as your invoice logo. We do not upload, transmit, or receive your photos. You can decline or revoke this permission at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos on your device; the App will simply work without a logo.

6. Children's privacy

The App is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children, because we do not collect personal data at all.

7. Data retention and deletion

Your data lives on your device and remains there until you delete it. You control it directly:

Because the developer holds no copy of your data, there is nothing stored on our side to retain or delete. The App also includes an export feature that lets you create, on your device, a ZIP backup containing a PDF of each invoice plus a JSON backup — this is generated locally and shared only where you choose to send it.

8. Data security

Your data is stored on your device and protected by your device's own security, including the passcode, Face ID/Touch ID, and Apple's on-device data protection. The App applies Apple's file-protection to its on-device storage so the data is protected while your device is locked, and it obscures App content in the iOS app switcher to reduce shoulder-surfing. Keeping your device updated and protected with a passcode is the best way to keep your data safe.

9. Your privacy rights

Because we do not collect or hold any personal data about you, most data-protection rights are satisfied by the App's on-device-only design: your data is in your hands, on your device, and never sent to us. The sections below explain how this maps to specific laws. This is provided for transparency and is truthful to the App's design.

9.1 GDPR (European Union / European Economic Area / UK)

If you are in the EU, EEA, or UK, the General Data Protection Regulation (and the UK GDPR) gives you rights over your personal data. We do not act as a data controller or processor of your personal data through the App, because we do not collect, receive, or store it. Your information stays on your own device under your control.

This means:

Because we hold no personal data, we cannot fulfil a data-subject request for data we do not have. Purchase and payment information is handled by Apple as described in Section 4; please direct any related requests to Apple.

9.2 CCPA / CPRA (California)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you certain rights regarding your personal information. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal information. Specifically:

You will not be discriminated against for exercising any privacy right.

9.3 PDPA (Singapore)

If you are in Singapore, the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) governs the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data. We do not collect, use, or disclose your personal data through the App. Your data remains on your device under your control. Because we hold no personal data, the PDPA's access and correction obligations are satisfied by the on-device design — you can access and correct your data directly in the App.

9.4 Other regions

The same principle applies wherever you are: the developer collects no personal data, so there is no data on our side to access, correct, export, or delete. Your data stays on your device.

10. International data transfers

Because your data stays on your device and is not sent to us, the developer does not transfer your personal data across borders. Any handling of purchase information is performed by Apple under Apple's own policies (see Section 4).

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the App or in legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the new version at this URL. If we ever make a change that materially affects how information is handled, we will take reasonable steps to make the change clear.
